COPP - Coalition of Pinnacle Peak, Inc.
About COPP

Preserving Our Desert Quality of Life . . .
COPP’s mission is to educate the public and hold government officials accountable to the public on any issue that poses a threat to neighborhoods, the environment, and fiscal responsibility.

Together we can make a difference!

COPP is dedicated to the proposition . . .

COPP is a non-profit organization composed of individuals and homeowner associations who have joined together to protect neighborhoods preserve the natural environment and promote governmental fiscal responsibility. COPP members and its Board of Directors are dedicated to the proposition that protecting our unique natural environment is a sacred trust, and that government officials should be responsive to the wishes of their constituents. Pinnacle Peak, an enduring landmark, was chosen for the organization’s name because it embodies the rugged natural beauty and spirit of the American West. JOIN NOW!

WHAT CONCERNS DO COPP MEMBERS SHARE?

COPP members are concerned about the impact of growth-at-any-cost policies that have been embraced by too many Arizona politicians. The results of these policies include traffic congestion, air and noise pollution, higher taxes, destruction of our fragile desert, rapid aquifer depletion, and the overall neglect of our mature neighborhoods. Concerns about these, and other threats, are the primary focus of COPP members.  JOIN NOW!

WHY WAS COPP FORMED?

COPP was formed to educate residents and represent their interests to appropriate government officials. COPP was formally organized in 1997 as a neighborhood response to numerous development excesses that were threatening our neighborhoods and the desert environment.
